St. Helen Snowpackers 2012 10th Annual Snow Run
Message from the President
Well, the weather this year has not been kind to us. A look at the ten-day forecast confirms that we won't have enough snow to safely hold all of our traditional Snow Run events. The trails are just too icy.
The Saturday events will be held as planned, including our ArticCat Sled Raffle drawing, silent auction, and 50-50 drawings. The checkpoints will still be open, and we will still be drawing winning numbers for money prizes and door prizes. The locations of the checkpoints will still be in the same general area as shown on our trail map, but will be moved closer to the roads so they are easier to access by car. The trail maps are on the backs of the Snow Run flyer, and are also posted at the Clubhouse.
The Friday Night Mystery Ride has been canceled due to a lack of snow, but we will still have a bonfire and snacks at the Clubhouse on Friday night.
The Sunday Radar Run has also been canceled due to a lack of snow.
Thank you for your support during the past years, we hope that you will come out again this year, even if only by car. We plan to have a fun weekend, snow or no snow, and we want you to join us.
I invite everyone to stop by our Clubhouse which is open during the winter months on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am - 4 pm for a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and good conversation. The Snowpackers are active all year with other activities so take a look at our schedule for upcoming events. Check back to our website often for the latest snow conditions.
